building fence!

There is no greater feeling than that sense of accomplishment you feel after having created something.

A dog showed up at our house a couple weeks ago... A great dog... A German Short Haired Pointer... Beautiful dog... temperment to match... great with the kids. We looked and called around for anyone who might have lost such a dog, but no one claimed her... so we did. Honestly, I didn't think I would have another dog after Pacey died. But you know... you have to move on. However, I always said that I would never have another dog unless I had a dog pen. I had never built a dog pen before. It's not that big of a deal, however when I do something, I like to make sure it's done right. So, I fretted and stewed for two weeks about the best way to build a dog pen... the right materials, etc. Well, may I just say... I think I built one damn fantastic, sturdy dog pen. Lisa took this picture when the pen was about half built. I told her she had to take a picture of me to post on her blog and say what a stud I am... She's not much of a blogger anymore, so I have to toot my own horn.
