a corny update
Here is an updated photo on the corn taken a couple days ago. I watered yesterday and then it rained last night with a strong wind. When I went out this morning, about half of the corn was laying over on the ground. I went through row by row and put each plant upright and packed mud around the base. It looks good again. I put some nitrogen on it this afternoon (something I should have done two weeks ago), so hopefully it will root down a little more and not be so vulnerable to the wind. In the bottom of the frame you can see the squash that Dad and I planted in the empty space between the corn and Jeffy's sunflowers. It is coming along nicely... more to come.

It's growing...

We are having the same wind issues. Our corn is not as prolific as yours, but it is corn and I never thought we would be all farmery. Go fig.
Looks like mighty fine corn.

Update:
Our corn has actually righted itself! We didn't do anything to it and the stalks have gently curved to an upright and locked postion.
Must be some sort of airplane tray table corn...
