My Sister the blogger
My Sis has just joined the world of blogging. Check her out... and help name her new kitten. http://www.tennesseefreeman.blogspot.com/ You know, I remember back when Seth told me about blogs and said he had just started one, I said... "sounds like a conceited thing to do". He acknowledged that it kind of was, but he was gonna give it a whirl anyway. He posted an homage to my birthday, and to leave a comment I had to sign up for a blog. I decided to give it a try, and loved it. I have been blogging off and on for a little over a year now... (more "on" lately), and I no longer feel that it is a conceited thing to do, especially now that I have family joining in. I do however think that it is a great way to keep up with friends and family. Blog on!

I'm at a loss...

I've got a little bit of a mystery on my hands here. Yesterday morning I went out to the garden and found this!

Here's the story...When I put the fence up a couple of weeks ago, I was short about a foot and a half, so I put a couple of posts in where the fence ended and stuck Three cement blocks in there. When I went out yesterday, one of the posts was bent over... the blocks were knocked over and one of the blocks was about 15 feet away. I could see where the block had hit the ground several times before it came to rest. Now those blocks are pretty heavy. What could have done this? Here are the theories so far:
1. A mini tornado. That is my Dad's favorite explanation.
2. A deer came running through and knocked everything to hell. That is my brother Mark's explanation and the one I am starting to lean towards... although there weren't any tracks.
3. We have a bigfoot running around here. He stubbed his toe, got pissed off, knocked over the blocks and threw one 15 feet away. Not very likely, but damn imaginative.
4. A lightning strike. Also not very likely as we never heard any thunder. And finally...
5. Some weird kind of underground force field tossing stuff around and bending metal posts.
Who knows?!? There for a while I was starting to think that God's garden was more like the devil's garden. If anyone can figure this mystery out, please do so. Post your fave theory. Until someone comes up with a more plausible explanation, I am going to assume that we have got one sore deer wandering around here somewhere.
